Giegler Proposal to Make Danbury Fire Training Facility a Regional State School

DANBURY- State Representative Janice R. Giegler, R-138th District along with the rest of the Danbury Delegation has introduced a bill this legislative session to designate the Danbury fire training facility at Plumtrees Road as a state regional fire school.

The bill has been referred to the General Assembly’s Public Safety and Security Committee and the public hearing for the bill is February 10th.

“In these tough economic times, legislation that permits and encourages regional cooperation and helps contain costs for municipalities makes fiscal sense,” said Rep. Geigler.
